Welcome to SoundManager VST Host, a software program designed primarily for live performances, especially for keyboardists. Play and manage your VST plugins by categorizing them into setlists, songs, and song parts (e.g., intro, verse, chorus, interlude, etc.) for easy access during live performances.
All actions performed within the SoundManager VST host are automatically saved to a database. This ensures that your work is immediately recorded in the database and does not require manual saving. The feature provides a seamless and efficient workflow, allowing you to focus on playing and creating your sounds without interruption.
In addition to live settings, the application can also be used as a sound library in the studio by organizing your VST3 plugins into categories and subcategories using a free structure. The main difference is that the free structure offers a more flexible and hierarchical organization, which is particularly useful for complex setups, sound libraries, and home studio applications. In contrast, the structure for live performances is designed for simplicity and efficiency on stage.
Note:
SoundManager VST Host only runs on 64-bit Windows operating systems and exclusively supports the VST3 interface. For licensing reasons, VST2 plugins cannot be supported. This ensures compatibility with the latest plugin standards and offers improved performance and functionality.
